The City of Chiloquin is located in South Central Oregon, about 30 miles north of Klamath Falls. While the city boasts a population in the 700’s, the Chiloquin area covers a large outlying area where some 3000 more residents live. Wildlife is abundant and the wetlands 3 miles west of the city are a major stopping point for many migratory birds. The Town of Bonanza is located in the rich agricultural Lost River Valley 25 miles East of Klamath Falls in Klamath County on Oregon State Highway 70. Today, Bonanza is a strong farming and ranching community of 465 people. The history of Bonanza goes back to the late 1800’s when the Town was developed at an old Modoc Indian site. Bonanza holds numerous events throughout the year that bring the community and visitors together.
Keno is an unincorporated community in Klamath County, Oregon, United States, southwest of Klamath Falls on the Klamath River near Oregon Route 66. As of 2000, the population was 1,059. Keno’s elevation is 4,108 feet (1,252 m) above sea level.
